Built in 1910, the iconic Dimmeys clocktower has recently undergone major restoration works due to over 115 years of exposure to the weather, two of the clock faces have been replaced with toughened glass in keeping with the exisiting ones. There has been a full assessment of the structural intergrity of the clocktower with some internal remediations works now required to ensure that its structure integrity remains for another 100+ years.

As the custodians of the Richmond Icon building, the owners are proud to be given the privilege of preserving a major inner-city landmark in Richmond, Victoria. We would like to sincerely thank the various artisans, skilled workers and experts, who completed the clock face works under the supervision of Heritage Victoria.
